Samudra Panchkoshi Narmada Parikrama

* Due to the arrival of Dowry Special Economic Zone in this Panchkroshi Parikrama Marg in Wagra taluka of Bharuch district of Gujarat, there is unity among the villages there. There are mainly five villages along this route. The villages are Dahej, Ambheta, Jageshwar, Luwara and Lakhigam. *

* This Samudra Panchkroshi Parikrama is also called 'Navnath Parikrama'. This name is prevalent as there are nine places of Mahadev on this route. Each location is unique. It has a tradition of hundreds of years. They have been established by God and sages. There have been thousands of rituals to date. There are many stories out there. There is ample evidence that all temples are ancient. The government has improved road connectivity. Moreover, the temple premises are being razed. So the journey was a successful one. * The following are the locations in the Ocean Five Cross Circuit: * * 1) Shri Bhootnath Mahadev: Here Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh are established in linga form. They have been established by Mahadev. Nearby is Sri Sikotar Mata Mandir. There is a dense acacia forest near the temple. There is Baneshwar Kund and Shivling made by Bhima by shooting arrows. There is an ancient cemetery. Due to the dense vegetation and the surrounding industrial area, this forest area is home to nilgai, snakes, hyenas, foxes and hundreds of birds. The companion has many snakes and hundreds of peacocks. There are so many peacocks here that there is literally a peacock-forest as food is easily available due to the activities of the generous Gujarati community. Food donations for the people are started regularly. It was learned that many Tantra seekers are staying here. Many people from Vadodara (Baroda) and Bharuch always come for service. * * 2) Shri Makhaneshwar Mahadev: This divine field power is established and it is also called as Shri Mankameshwar Mahadev Temple. The main temple is currently undergoing renovations. There is a beautiful temple of Narmada Maiya in the courtyard. *

* Jageshwar is near Mithitalai. This is the place where Parikramavasi crosses the Reva Sangam and descends to the North Coast. At present a huge jetty is being constructed by the Gujarat government to make it easier for the pilgrims to reach the shore. Near this jetty is Dahej-Ghogha (Bhavnagar) Ro-Ro ferry service jetty. This has made it possible to reach Saurashtra from South Gujarat. Mithitalai has a large ashram and excellent accommodation. There is a big temple of Narmada Maiya. *

* So there were nine Mahadev places that completed our sea-cruising cycle! *
